Forty-eight local fishermen and women actively participated, showcasing their commitment to learning life-saving techniques necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations at sea.

Additionally, Director of International Relations, ๐—–๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ข๐—ฟ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ผ ๐——๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ด led on the topic of collision regulations, emphasizing that the basic boating rules and protocols is imperative.
 
Capt Dimailig also encouraged the participants to always prioritize safety by providing tips on taking evasive actions as needed.

Prof Barro also expressed his hopes that similar seminars will be expanded to a broader audience. He also assured that the Academy remains committed to providing support with the fisherfolk community of Zambales.
