RENEWAL OF ASTR INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP
The Philippine Merchant Marine Academy through the leadership of the Superintendent COMMO JOEL Y ABUTAL PMMA and diligence of the Department of Research, Development, and Extension headed by CDR Victoria Q Paraggua PMMA is pleased to announce that it has renewed its institutional membership to the Asian Society of Teachers for Research, Inc. (ASTR) for the year 2023 โ 2024.
The ASTR is an organization with educational institution-members from the Philippines and Asian neighbors, devoted to the advancement of pedagogy in the teaching of research in all academic levels. Further, it is committed to produce institutional materials for effective teaching andlearning, exchange best practices in teaching research, organize conferences that promote
s new knowledge and best practices, among others.
