Strengthening the Ability of San Narciso Local Fishermen to Survive When at Sea

The Philippine Merchant Marine Academy through the Department of Research, Development and Extension organized the Extension program for the 2nd batch of trainees of ”Strengthening the Ability of San Narciso Local Fishermen to Survive When at Sea” held last June 29-30, 2022 at Barangay La Paz, San Narciso, Zambales. The training is facilitated by Engr. Bruno Culaton, Assistant Director of the PMMA Training Center. The training is designed to ensure that local fishermen are aware of the risks associated with working on boats and are prepared to respond effectively in an emergency. There were two barangay officials present, along with thirteen fishermen participants. The program is implemented in accordance with COVID-19 safety guidelines and requirements.
